Affixing the translation agency’s stamp and seal and the signature of the translator who performed translation is one type of written translation certification.
There are two ways to certify a written translation with a stamp, seal and the translator’s signature in our translation agency:
- The translation is sewed to the original document or its black and white copy. The translator affixes his or her signature, indicates his or her surname, name and patronymic on the sheet containing the text of the translation, thus confirming that he or she is responsible for the translation. Then, the translation agency’s seal and stamp with the signature of the director of the translation agency where the translator who signed the translation or a certified translator is employed are affixed on the back of this sheet.
- The sheet with the translation is not sewed to the original or black and white copy of the document. The seal and stamp with the signature of the director of the translation agency or the certified translator shall be affixed to the sheet with the text of the translation and the signature of the translator. In such case, the entire translation is printed out. Stamps and seals are affixed on each sheet of the translation, and the translator’s signature is affixed only on the last page of the translation.
We ask our clients to clarify with the relevant authorities, departments and other bodies and institutions to which the translation will be submitted the form of certification they require.
